Persist Publicity is a Denver-based and woman-owned boutique PR business focused solely on the Colorado community. It specializes in working with small business owners, entrepreneurs and mission-focused organizations to secure positive press coverage that drives brand awareness, attention and action.

Jessica Nelson

Owner / Principal

With over a decade of experience in public relations, communications and journalism, Jessica launched Persist Publicity to tell stories that matter. She has worked with a variety of local and national clients across industries to effectively communicate their vision and accomplishments through press, positioning them as recognized and reputable industry leaders.

Previously, Jessica spent over six years leading corporate and consumer PR for Fathom Events, the recognized leader in event cinema distribution. Her clients included top film (Universal, Warner Bros. Sony, etc.) and TV (AMC, BBC, TCM, etc.) studios, world- renowned performing arts organizations (The Metropolitan Opera, Bolshoi Ballet, NT Live, Disney Theatrical, etc.) and many others. Prior to joining Fathom, she worked in communications at Xerox and spent several years as a multimedia journalist.

Most recently, Jessica has refocused her attention to the Colorado community, working with local entrepreneurs, small businesses and mission-centered organizations with a common thread of community impact.

Jessica also enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains and continuing to discover everything Denver has to offer.
